The last December was one of big journeys and a lot of work. With the ending of most of the Christmasshows here in Holland I am now able to focus more clearly on the last cities of the Wintercircus Martin Hanson for which I organize the marketing and PR. But looking back on December it might have been very busy, but it was great to meet many friends again. For instance Vivi and Robert (the famous Duo Viro) who drove from the Apollo Variété in Dusseldorf, Germany to my hometown Hoorn to visit Wintercircus Martin Hanson. What a wonderful surprise that was for us!
But also Fabio Manduca and Louis Knie jr. booked me for both photo and video work in Utrecht. Again a very nice experience. I had booked the entire show of the Kerstcircus Nijmegen and I was very happy that all the artists had a great time and are looking back with fond memories on their time in Nijmegen.
I love to see new cities and my trips to take pictures of the Great Chinese Acrobatic Circus in both Weilburg and Regensburg enabled me to see two towns which I never visited before.
Besides looking back I am also looking forward to the Circusfestival in Budapest. I will be attending every day (but not all the shows), this enables me to also stroll around the town and I hope to take yet again some pictures of this wonderful town with all it wonder Art Deco and Jugendstil architecture. Besides that, I hear many friends will be attending as well. I fear it will be short nights, but luckily with great fun.
