At the moment most circuses are approaching the end of the summer season. For me this means that my agenda is getting filled more and more with dates to come and make pictures of circuses.
Next weekend it all kicks off with a weekend filled with making the press pictures at the Cirque Medrano in Lyon. At the end of October beginning of November might be a big trip abroad and then I still need to prepare a lot of things for the Wintercircus Martin Hanson. The circus for which I do the marketing and publicity besides being their photographer. On the 21st of November I shall arrive in Waalwijk for the week of rehearsals. On the 20th however I will be in Weilburg an der Lahn, Germany to make the press pictures for Der Grosse Chinesische Akrobatikzirkus.
And once the Wintercircus Martin Hanson is on tour this normally means time for my annual trip to Paris and after that on with the Christmas circuses in Holland. In this period I will not have a lot of sleep, I will travel a lot but I will also see a lot of circus and friends and that makes the end of the year always worthwhile.
